NFL News: Brett Favre Passes another Milestone

Today, the Green Bay Packers routed the Minnesota Vikings 34-0, sending the Packers to a division leading 8-1 record while basically knocking the Vikings out of playoff contention and putting them at 3-6.

In the win, Green Bay's future hall of fame quarterback Brett Favre joined Dan Marino as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to throw for 60,000 yards. Farve delivered a dominant performance for the home crowd as he completed 33 of 46 passes for 351 yards and three touchdowns.

At this point the Packers look like the team to beat in the weak NFC North division, and also a team that should contend for the NFC Championship.
