Pro NFL Footballs Just aren't the Same as Nerf Balls

Playing with a little nerf football may be pretty good practice for your grade school child, but eventually you will have to upgrade that foam replica with a more realistic size and feel. If you keep practicing with your kid using a nerf ball, they're never going to learn how to catch and throw Pro NFL footballs.

Once your kids hit middle school, they're probably at a pretty good age to start playing with a synthetic leather ball. By the time that they reach high school, they'll be ready to try out and make the team. They might even become their school's football star.
