NFL and AFL football standings
Like professional baseball, professional football has two different conference names: National Football versus Arena football and American League versus National League. There is one big difference in the league set up between these two sports. The difference is that, while the American League and the National League eventually compete against each other to battle it out for the national championship position, National Football and Arena Football will never meet on the same field.NFL and AFL football standings could never be compared because their rules are different and they even play on different fields. I've often wondered myself who would win if these leagues were pitted against each other, but alas such a meeting would never occur. This is the only professional sport where there are two entirely separate leagues that hold two separate championship games.
