Standard NFL Football Field Dimensions
The NFL football field dimensions are standardized and the same at every stadium in the NFL. Every football field has the overall outside dimensions of a length of 120 yards or 360 feet, and a width of 53 1/2 yards or 160 feet. The 2 end zones are 10 yards deep and a six foot end line border marks the back of the end zone.The numbers on the field are six feet high and four feet wide. The NFL fields have the tightest hash mark from all the levels of football and measure 70 feet, 9 inches from each sideline and are 18 feet, 6 inches wide. On college fields the hash marks are forty feet wide and on high school fields they are 53 feet, 4 inches. The goal posts are 18 feet, six inches wide, which is the same width of the hash marks.
