Some Incredible Free Agent Additions to the Jets 2008 NFL Football Roster

This off-season has brought some incredible free agent additions to the New York Jets 2008 NFL football roster. The free agent signings of Alan Faneca and Damien Woody are a giant boost to the Jets offensive line which had some major issues during their disappointing 2007 season.

The signing of Faneca who has been a major cog in the Pittsburg Steelers offensive line brings the Jets a veteran presence that will only make the other offensive lineman better around him. He will also be a great mentor for the younger Jets lineman like left tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson and center Nick Mangold.

Although Damien Woody's impact will not be as great as Faneca's, he is still a proven veteran that will really help the team out. Woody is slated to start at right tackle for the Jets, and will help bring together what could be one of the better offensive lines in the NFL in 2008.
