NFL Football Combine to Kick Off Soon...

NFL Football
The NFL Network is providing 24/7 access to all facets of the game of football. After the season is over, the NFL Network doesn't stop there. They provide great coverage during the off-season that you and I really would have no idea about if they didn't air it.

The NFL Football Combine is nearing soon. This is where the best college athletes that have decided to go pro put their skills to the test with all the scouts in attendance. The Combine starts today, the 18th, and runs through the 24th.

Each group of position players will give it their all as they try to impress the NFL team scouts. You can go to the NFL Network on TV or check out the website to find out individual stories and what these players have to do during the Combine.

The NFL Football Playoffs Start For Real This Weekend

NFL FootballThe NFL football playoffs start for real this weekend as the remaining 4 teams in each conference get set to battle. I have long considered the first weekend (Wild Card weekend) of the playoffs to basically be nothing more than a chance to see who was going to lose the next weekend.

All of the teams that won this weekend will be going on the road to face the top two seeded teams in each conference who had byes this past weekend. It would be a big surprise if any of these road teams win this weekend, and from looking at the early odds I would say the book makers are thinking the same thing. The lowest point spread right now is in the Green Bay Packers giving 8 points to the Seahawks who will be visiting the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.

Here Come the NFL Football Playoffs

NFL FootballWith 3 weeks remaining in the NFL football regular season, the playoff teams are starting to come into focus. It comes as no surprise that the still undefeated New England Patriots at a perfect 13-0 have not only clinched a playoff berth, but have also clinched their division and a first round bye. The only other AFC team to clinch a playoff berth is the Indianapolis Colts at 11-2, so there are 4 more playoff spots to be decided in the AFC.

However, the NFC is basically all wrapped up because Dallas (12-1), Green Bay (11-2), and Seattle (9-4) have clinched their divisions. The other spots are essentially lined up unless something drastic was to happen, as the NY Giants and Tampa Bay are both one win away from securing a berth. There will be a shootout for that last NFC spot, which will probably come down to the last Sunday of the regular season.
